Joe Corapi Appointed as EMSC's First Mentor Coach

The Board of Directors of the Erin Mills Soccer Club is pleased to announce that Joe Corapi has been added to the staff of the Erin Mills Soccer Club as its very first Mentor Coach.  
 
Joe has a long and decorated history in soccer in Canada and the US as a player and coach. While attending Philip Pocock Catholic Secondary School in Mississauga, Joe competed as a member of Team Ontario's Gold Medal winning team at the 1989 Canada Games and was a member of the Canadian Youth National team. 

Joe attended Penn State University on a soccer scholarship. As a junior the Nitanny Lions won the Big Ten Championship in 1993. As a senior he was named a team captain and was selected as a First Team member of the All-Big Ten Conference Team.

Joe first joined the Erin Mills Soccer Club as a volunteer in 1998. After joining the club, he has helped different teams to the Canadian National Club Championships in 2001 and 2005 while being the runner-up in 2003.  He was also involved in various teams which have won 3 Ontario Cups (2001, 2003, and 2005) as well as 3 Ontario Indoor Cups (2001, 2005, and 2006). 

He now holds his Canadian B License and USSF B License and is currently participating in the Canadian A License. He is a respected and recognized leader in the soccer community and we're very pleased that he has chosen to continue his work with the many coaches and staff within the Erin Mills Soccer Club.
