Erin Mills Soccer Club is excited to announce, in collaboration with Running Renegades, we will be hosting a Women's Empowerment Day.

Sports can have many positive impacts on girls and women, such as high levels of confidence, self-esteem and general psychological well-being. But a report by Canadian Women & Sport has shown that one in three Canadian girls drop out of sports during adolescence.

We have created Women's Empowerment Day to encourage and engage women in sports. Run by female volunteers, we will be running various soccer and basketball activities to expose the girls to the benefits of sports.

OPEN TO AGES 7 - 16 YEARS OLD. No spectators allowed. We will be providing a FREE LUNCH and FREE T-SHIRT for each participant.

The event will be at the EMSC Clubhouse, located at 3135 Unity Dr #3, Mississauga, ON L5L 4L4.

As per Ontario's Proof of Vaccination policy, participants under the age of 18 do not need to be vaccinated to attend. Participants will be required to wear a mask when entering and exiting the clubhouse, but not when actively participating. Participants will also be asked to show proof of COVID-19 screening when they enter the facility.

We recommend participants wear running shoes and athletic clothing. Shin pads are required for the soccer portion.
