Wings of Opportunity: Financial Assistance Program 

At Erin Mills Soccer Club, we believe every child should have the opportunity to play soccer, regardless of their family's financial circumstances.

Through our Wings of Opportunity Financial Assistance Program, we aim to reduce financial barriers and help more children and youth participate in the sport they love.

Eligible families residing in Mississauga may receive financial assistance toward registration fees, based on demonstrated financial need and available club funding.

Annual Financial Assistance Limits:

• Recreational Programs: Up to $300 per player annually.

• Competitive Programs: Up to $500 per player annually.

Financial assistance is not guaranteed and is subject to eligibility, application review and available club funding.

How to Apply

Step 1: Explore External Funding Opportunities

Before applying for financial assistance through EMSC, families are required to explore available external funding programs. These organizations may provide financial support toward soccer registration fees:

• Jumpstart

• KidSport Ontario

• Their Opportunity

Families are encouraged to apply to all programs for which they may qualify. Any approved or pending external funding should be disclosed in the EMSC application.

Step 2: Complete the EMSC Financial Assistance Application

Once you have explored external funding opportunities, complete our online Wings of Opportunity application.

The application will ask for household information, player registration details, financial circumstances and any assistance received or requested from other organizations.

Supporting financial documentation is required to help assess eligibility.

Step 3: Confidential Application Review

All applications are assessed individually and confidentially by an officer of Erin Mills Soccer Club.

Each request is reviewed based on the family's financial circumstances, available external funding and the club's financial assistance budget.

All personal and financial information provided will be kept confidential and used solely for the purpose of assessing the application.

Step 4: Application Decision

Applicants will be notified of the decision within 10 business days of receiving a completed application and all required supporting documentation.

Approved financial assistance will be applied directly toward the player's EMSC registration fees.

If additional information is required, EMSC will contact the applicant before completing the review.
