Friend Requests & Team Balancing

To request a player to be on your child's team, please write the name within the notes section on PowerUp. Only one friend request will be permitted and it must be reciprocated. All player requests must be left in the notes section in the online registration system. No requests will be considered after the registration process of the player has been completed.

Friend request deadline: May 20, 2022

To ensure fairness across the league, Erin Mills Soccer Club reserves the right to balance teams and move players to any team for the U12+ programs. We will try to keep friend requests together but a fair and equal league is our top priority.

Refund Policy

All refunds will be accepted 14 days prior to the start of the program. To learn more about refunds, please visit our Refund Policy & Form page

Volunteer coaches are essential to helping us run our recreational league, we truly couldn't do it without them! If you are interested in volunteering, please visit our Volunteer Opportunities page

If we cannot find a coach for a team, we will be implementing a parent rotation.

Extreme Weather

  • Players should go to the field for the scheduled game, regardless of the prevailing weather. The Match Official will make the decision whether to cancel the game due to extreme weather.

  • As per Ontario Soccer's Lightning Policy, if thunder is heard then the game will be paused and can only resume 30 minutes after the last rumble.

  • EMSC will notify all participants if there are any field closures due to adverse weather.

  • EMSC will make its best efforts to reschedule cancelled games, but cannot guarantee all games will be rescheduled due to weather, field availability and duration of the season.

Safety Protocols

Across all of our programs, EMSC has focused on the health and safety of our players, to ensure all not only enjoy themselves but feel safe and secure to doing so. Erin Mills Soccer Club follows protocols outlined by the Ontario government, Peel Public Health and Ontario Soccer.
