Erin Mills Eagles U18 defeated Milton, 8-0 in the semi-finals of the Ontario Cup and faced Ottawa South United in the finals.
The Final was a great match. Erin Mills Eagles scored in the 16th minute when Jayden Cameron placed it in the bottom corner of the net, making it 1-0.
After the first goal, the match was very entertaining, with both teams playing intense. OSU showed a good fight, pressing for the equalizer in the first half.
The second half started even more intense by OSU, who came close to the equalizer until a free kick was rewarded against them. Jayden Cameron stepped up and delivered a pinpoint cross to the back post where Chidiebere Nnolim found the back of the net with a tidy side-footed finish, in the 58th minute.
This capped off an amazing performance to secure the Ontario Cup Title for Erin Mills Soccer Club.
